10-Dec-2007 CENTEX-Manila tops the National Achievement Test
CENTEX-Manila has proven once more that it is among the Division of Manila’s top-performing schools by attaining the highest National Achievement Test (NAT) mean score. The score is based on the results of the 2006-2007 examinations administered by the Department of Education to graduating elementary students. CENTEX-Manila also received a special award from the Division of City Schools, Manila for obtaining the target mean in the NAT.
The results further revealed that the Grade 6 students of CENTEX had the highest mean score in Filipino. For this achievement, Divina Gracia Barrientos, a Grade 6 Filipino teacher, was conferred the Outstanding Teacher distinction, also by the Division of City Schools, Manila
