Edrian A. Onayan Edrian A. Onayan
1st Year High School

Edrian is a pleasant and well-mannered child who has a very good attitude towards work and studies. He has wonderful leadership skills and is well liked and very much respected by his peers. He is a cooperative team player and a very determined learner. Being a committed Boy Scout, he readily volunteers his help whenever and wherever it’s needed, especially when it comes to helping his younger brother, Edron, a third grader in CENTEX, with his homework. Edrian aspires to become an engineer and design bridges and buildings in the future. Now may just be in his freshman year, but his attentiveness and diligence in his lessons will surely help him achieve this dream.

Joyce Ann L. Ticman Joyce Ann L. Ticman
2nd Year High School

Joyce Ann has a warm and affectionate nature. She does not hesitate to let other people feel special whenever she’s around. Friends and teachers alike are one in saying that she is a respectful, polite, and industrious student. She assumes and carries out responsibilities uncomplainingly and with great care. It is therefore not surprising to know that she dreams of nurturing others by becoming a nurse someday. Coming from an underprivileged background is not a hindrance to Joyce Ann’s academic success. After all, she has her family’s loving support to lean on to during difficult times. She continues to strive for excellence in second year high school, and does not tire of giving beyond what is expected of her.

Mariezzabelle C. Rosete Mariezzabelle C. Rosete
3rd Year High School

Her gentleness and serene demeanor have won over countless of friends who love her for who she is. One must not be fooled by Mariezz’s unobtrusive ways, however. She may be quiet, but she can self-assuredly stand by her deep convictions during class discussions. She may seem reserved, but she warmly welcomes her classmates’ ideas with an open mind. She may be timid, but she can bravely face any challenge presented to her, including singing with confidence in front of hundreds of people. Mariezz is already on her third year of secondary education. Although she has continued to flourish academically in her present school, she greatly misses her shared experiences with the friends she grew up with in CENTEX. Up to this day, her CENTEX teachers and friends continue to marvel at her simple but admirable actions.

Rionle M. Abanes Rionle M. Abanes
1st Year High School

As the School Year 2006-2007 approached its end, Rionle and his closest classmates sat under the shade of one of the trees in the CENTEX-Batangas campus. They reminisced about the seven wonderful years they have shared together. While his classmates raved about their many adventures in school, Rionle wondered gratefully about how his experiences changed him. He believes that it was in CENTEX where he discovered who he really is. Rionle hopes to become a great engineer someday. He fantasizes about building his seamstress mother, carpenter father, and siblings the house of their dreams. He looks forward to the day when his family can live more comfortably. With his academic aptitude and positive outlook in life, his dream is definitely within reach. After all, he graduated from CENTEX with honors. How can he not succeed?

Ronessa A. de Chavez Ronessa A. de Chavez
1st Year High School

Ronessa is a person who believes that knowledge is the key to success. This is probably why she has an aversion to mediocrity when it comes to her schoolwork. She consistently exhibits brilliant ideas in both her oral and written work, and she never fails to amaze others with her ability to attain superior marks because of her hard work. More than her accomplishments in school, however, it is Ronessa’s humility which sets her apart from many children her age. She persists in chasing her dream to become an inventor someday. Ronessa wishes to come up with devices that will help the world do things more efficiently. As she is about to face new challenges in high school, she keeps in her heart the hope she can achieve her dream someday.
